It would make sense, since he didn&#039;t kill sayiid and locke. the MIB could have let Sawyer die, and then infested him, which he didn&#039;t by saving him. Which brings back the meaning you were supposed to get from the &quot;of mice and men&quot; book.

Try not to look solely in a good vs evil sense. there is also the free will vs destiny (MIB being free will and Jacob being destiny), yin and yang with the balance of powers going on on the island. There are far more meanings that can be drawn from black and white than just good vs evil. And technically you still can&#039;t call the MIB evil, while he is the black cloud, he didn&#039;t kill &quot;pure&quot; people and he is the one advocating free will. 

Also with the name crossing out, I&#039;m not sure there were any women on that wall at all, not just Kate.</description>
