Fantasy Factory: I’m an Awkward Enabler! (8/30/10)

Fantasy Factory: I'm An Awkward Enabler

BIG CAT EPISODE!!!! I actually kinda like Big Cat's awkwardness, it reminds me of Drama's awkwardness during the Rob & Big days, although I think Drama has more "stage" presence than his brother does.

I'm An Awkward Enabler!: Rob organizes an intervention to address his cousin Big Cat's awkwardness.

So my DVR decided to delete all of my series recordings which includes Fantasy Factory so by the time I realized it was on I missed everything up until the first commercial, but what I did see was pretty amusing. Rob stages an awkward intervention for Big Cat's awkwardness, which was in itself extremely awkward. So to help him get over his awkwardness they made him give a speech at the opening of one of Rob's Safe Spot Skate Spots and he actually did pretty well with it. I think if Big Cat was in front of the cameras more he would eventually develop more confidence and be fine with it, I mean look at Drama he was awkward as hell during the early Rob & Big years, but eventually he grew into it and became more comfortable.

So that was basically the gist of the episode, I don't know if I missed anything at the beginning, but between the Safe Spot Skate Spot opening across from a 7-11 and Big Cat's awkwardness the episode was pretty entertaining.

Fantasy Factory – He’s Just A Little Mini-Pig (8/23/10)

I'm looking forward to tonight's episode of Fantasy Factory, it looks like Rob is getting himself another "mini pet" this time in the form of a pig! He also has a dude who looks like an Indian Jesus driving around the Fantasy Factory in one of the go karts, which is hysterical. I think we're going to get a quality episode tonight, check out the synopsis below.

He's Just A Little Mini-Pig: Rob challenges his manager Jeremy to a happiness contest.

Fantasy Factory – Operation: Save Patty (8/16/10)

And we're back to a normal episode thankfully. The clip show last week wasn't terrible, but I'm not a fan of those types of shows in general. I would rather watch a half assed, mediocre episode with new material instead of a show full of clips, even if they were supposedly "never before seen".  But either way, tonight is a brand new episode and here's what we have to look forward to.

Operation: Save Patty: Rob's mom injures her ankle, so he and Drama go to extreme lengths to ensure she's as comfortable as possible.

Fantasy Factory: Cheese Ballers! (7/26/10)

This new Monday night time slot is messing me up here, sorry for not posting the synopsis yesterday, but here you go.

Cheese Ballers!: Rob competes in the Grilled Cheese Invitational in Los Angeles, where he hopes to wow foodies with his take on the sandwich. Also: pro skater Torey Pudwill visits the factory.

The episode was decent, Rob and Drama took time out of their busy schedules to hit up the cheese store in search of the most expensive cheese and bread they could find in order to compete in the Grilled Cheese Invitational. Overall they spend ~$500 on a loaf of bread and 2 bricks of cheese, which is pretty insane. Rob even went as far as to get some gold food coloring spray to spray on the sandwich. Meanwhile, Chanel got a squad of cheerleaders together so they could cheer on the Cheese Ballers. But as I expected, the Cheese Ballers did not do so well at the competition. I think it was more a lack of experience than anything else so hopefully next year they'll go back and use what they learned to win the whole thing.

The side story of the episode was with pro skater Torey Pudwill and his new grip tape company, Grizzly Grip. He approached Rob with the idea of Rob joining the team and of course Rob was willing to help him out. He even helped Torey out with the first ad for Grizzly Grip in which Rob was dressed up like a giant bear.

Overall it was a decent episode, I still think last weeks was better, but at least next week we get to see Chanel in a bikini as she poses for her Maxim Magazine spread.

Fantasy Factory: Live Your Brand (7/19/10)

Last week Rob was the one living "recklessly", but tonight  it sounds like Drama is going to be the one getting a lesson in living "young & reckless".

Live Your Brand: Rob enlists Chad Ochocinco of the Cincinnati Bengals to teach Drama how to live recklessly.

As much as I thought the episode revolved around Drama and living recklessly, it also showed us a lot more of Big Cat than we have seen in the past. Basically Rob tells Drama that he can't promote a brand called "Young & Reckless" if he doesn't live recklessly. So at the release party for a new shirt design they run into Chad Ochocinco and invite him back to the Fantasy Factory for some antics. I honestly thought Ochocinco would have a lot bigger part of the episode, but he really just came by to ride a bike into the foam pit and bring Rob a trebuchet, which is essentially a catapult of sorts. They launched Lady Drama the Mannequin and he left... that was it. Rob then decided he was going to smash the shit out of Big Cat's car so him and drama took a sledgehammer to the entire thing, basically destroying it. Rob felt bad in the end and told Big Cat that he got carried away and would make things right by buying him a new car.

The car was the best part of the episode. Rob bought him an old caprice that was painted like a striped tiger/lion or something, but before he revealed what the car actually was it was covered in a huge furry cat head resembling chester cheetah from the Cheetos brand, it was hysterical. They drove it around town and people loved it.

At the very end, Rob and Drama live recklessly by jumping out of a large building into a giant airbag. This was actually pretty cool, I've been bungee jumping and skydiving, but I think it would be really cool to just jump out of a tall building into an airbag with no restrictions. So both Rob and Drama did it and apparently that was enough for Rob to allow Drama to continue selling a line called "Young & Reckless". Overall I thought it was a pretty good episode, but that car man, I was seriously in tears... good shit.
